For the Children

For the Children

The rising hills, the slopes,
of statistics
lie before us.
the steep climb
of everything, going up,
up, as we all
go down.

In the next century
or the one beyond that,
they say,
are valleys, pastures,
we can meet there in peace
if we make it.

(Grand Teton and Wildflowers)

To climb these coming crests
one word to you, to
you and your children:

stay together
learn the flowers
go light

    Thank you.

    Have you visited the Teton's?

Oh, that was so nice.  And, just look at those flowers! Wow!

A side note: I don't know if you are aware of this or if it has been affecting you or others, but I can not reply to any comments.  If it's a problem you are having, too, then I may not know if you reply to this comment or any other comments I leave on your posts.  (IF it goes in as a reply, I'll be notified.  But, IF it goes in as a comment...like mine have been doing...I won't know it because it will be a comment on your own blog.)

If you comment on any of my blogs, I can see them fine, but I will not be able to reply to them.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!  Anything I write will go in as a comment so you will never know about it (unless  you're in the habit of going back to old posts to read all the comments, which I don't think many people do.)  So, it's silly for me to even do a reply.

So, from now on, until the problem gets fixed, I will not be replying to anything, whether it's on somebody else's site or on my own.  I will still do comments, though!  But, no more replies.

If I see something, ANYTHING, that I want to or need to reply to, I will send the person a message with my reply to their inbox.  (Or, I will leave my reply as a comment...and then notify the person in a message that the comment is there.)
